Backyard Babies was formed in 1987 in Nässjö and can rightly be considered the most influential glam punk band in Sweden. Between 1994 and 2019, they released eight studio albums, with Making Enemies Is Good being their third. By 2001, Backyard Babies were already familiar with amplifiers and microphones, but they truly gained momentum with the release of Making Enemies Is Good. Featuring "Brand New Hate," "Heaven 2.9," and "The Clash," the album earned the influential Swedish glam-punk-hard rockers their first Swedish Grammy. To promote the album, they toured with Motörhead, a perfect choice given the energy.
