Bachar and Christophe met in 2018 during a Unik session of FIP, which consists of recording a 45 RPM record live, and then gave a concert at the Maison de la Radio. A meeting that will mark BMK, who dares in April 2025 a tribute to the Fragile festival, at the Cirque Zingaro, five years after Christophe's death and gives him the desire to continue the exploration, on stage first and then in the studio... Bachar Mar-Khalifé pays here a personal and pure tribute to the work of Christophe. Accompanied by Dogan Poyraz (drums) and Aleksander Angelov (bass), he revisits seven tracks in an instinctive approach, between simplicity, freedom of interpretation, and sonic subtlety, without trying to reproduce the original versions. Bachar Mar-Khalifé takes ownership of these songs as his own, highlighting their melodic beauty, their fragility, and their recurring themes: love, loss, and melancholy.
