With In Oculis, Azmari signs an audacious renewal, blending powerful grooves, cinematic jazz, and enchanting soundscapes in a more minimalist formula. Recorded during residencies in Belgium and abroad, this new EP reflects the band's desire to reinvent itself without renouncing its rhythmic and cosmopolitan identity. The project marks a reunion with Guillaume Souffrice (aka Mosso Mosso), former guitarist of the band and music therapist passionate about cross-cultural musical traditions. His journey — from Iranian Kurdistan to Northern India — and his love for psychedelic sounds enrich the compositions with unprecedented depth.
