Description

AUTOCREATION was founded in 1992 when the three members, Mark Van Hoen, Kevin Hector and Tara Patterson were living together in London. The three friends were then living in a building filled with DJs, acid house and house producers. AUTOCREATION was heavily inspired by contemporary dub techno groups like Basic Channel and other more purist techno producers like Jeff Mills or Kirk Degiorgio. Modular synthesizers were very widely used on this album, which was quite rare for a techno album at the time. The album was then released on The Orb's label, Inter-Modo in CD-only format. An ambient techno masterpiece, which for the first time, sees the light of day as a double LP.
