Violinist and singer Aurore Voilqué presents for the first time a completely sung repertoire. In this new album, violinist and singer Aurore Voilqué offers a repertoire entirely sung in French, featuring a majority of original tracks (lyrics and music), including several texts by Boris Bergman (author of Oh Gaby by Bashung, among others), centered around a theme with autobiographical resonance: the emotional states of a woman and an artist in the prime of her life (45 years old), with the musician taking the floor to tell her story. In line with the album's content (in a confessional tone), the musical treatment and arrangements favor acoustic string instruments (violin, guitar, double bass), with an intimate dimension that does not exclude a wide variety of colors and atmospheres (from pop-folk to blues, including swing jazz and gypsy music).
