During the Django festival in Budapest, Aurore Voilqué discovers the trio of Dejan Krsmanovic. She falls under the spell of the Serbian guitarist's compositions, infused with gypsy jazz and Balkan music. There was so much finesse, so much shared emotion and listening between the Serbian musicians of the Dejan Krsmanovic trio and the Alsatian violinist-singer Aurore Voilqué, that this beautiful tribute to Django's music could only be a unique encounter! In August 2023, following a week-long residency at the Au Gré du Jazz festival in the Northern Vosges, they recorded the concert for restitution, which will be their first album... Dejan Krsmanovic, born in Serbia, composer and guitarist, author of four albums, collaborator among others with the famous Norwegian guitarist Jon Larsen and accordion virtuoso Jordan Ðevic, was also a representative of Serbia at the World Expo in Dubai. Aurore Voilqué, overflowing with energy and mischief, is a virtuoso musician who has shared the stage with Angelo Debarre, Noé Reinhardt, Rhoda Scott, Sanseverino, Thomas Dutronc… Let's complete this luxury cast with the excellent guitarist Tomislav Vujnovic and double bassist Andrija Vojvodic.
