Kablammo!

Description

Starting off at full speed with the first single “Cocoon,” Kablammo! marks the big return of English power pop band Ash, 8 years after their last album Twilight Of The Innocents. The title alone — Kablammo! (the equivalent of the sound Boom!) — sums up the excitement Ash felt at playing together again, and that enthusiasm is felt throughout the album’s 12 tracks. “It’s pure Ash at their very best!” says drummer Rick McMurray. “Walls of guitars with shots of adrenaline mixed with sweet melodies.” From “Cocoon” to the epic “Free” and “Moondust,” Ash have rediscovered that teenage punk edge with a touch of 90s nostalgia that makes you want to raise your pint in the air. “We’ve finally bridged the gap between our live shows and our albums,” says the band. Kablammo! is proof of that.
