Description

This reissue of "Starring Rosi" was presented and supervised by Manuel Gottsching as always, and finalized by his family exactly according to his standards, in which the meticulous approach of his work lives on. A carefully commissioned 2024 updated reissue by Schnittselle in Berlin (responsible for the previous ART reissues, as well as the 2016 E2 E4 anniversary edition) ensures the depth of the warm sound while bringing out the rich textures and nuances, all from the original recordings. The reissue is available on 180-gram black vinyl and a limited edition on transparent Pearl Sunrise vinyl. Both vinyl editions come with a replica of the original vinyl artwork, including its original back cover. The limited edition also includes a poster of the alternate back cover, later used on CD editions showing Rosi and Manuel improvising during the studio sessions. Also included are prints of the previously unreleased original music for “The Fairy Dance” and handwritten composition sheets for “Schizo” written by Manuel.
