Quintet from London of new wave composed of PAUL MORLEY, TREVOR HORN, ANNE DUDLEY, GARY LANGAN, and J.J. JECZALIK, ART OF NOISE is renowned for its instrumental compositions based on original melodic collages, founded on the innovative use of samplers. From 1985 until the end of the 90s, the group racked up hits, including Peter Gunn (in collaboration with DUANE EDDY) and the track Kiss, in collaboration with TOM JONES (number 5 in the UK charts upon its release). Influence (The Best Of) brings together the essentials of this legendary group in a remastered 2CD box set, with hidden and unreleased tracks, as well as a 36-page booklet including an essay by ANNE DUDLEY, notes, and rare photos of the group.
