Led by Richard Jobson of The Skids, The Armory Show released their brand new album Dead Souls with Last Night From Glasgow in early 2025. Punk legend Richard Jobson is best known as the frontman of The Skids. The Armoury Show was formed in 1983, consisting of members of The Skids, Richard Jobson and Russell Webb, and members of Magazine, John McGeoch and John Doyle. The band released one album, Waiting for the Floods, in 1985, before disbanding in 1988. In 2019, it was announced that The Armory Show would be resurrected with Jobson as the sole original member and a newly modified name without the U. The Armory Show has announced concerts in 2025, including a special Portmeirion weekend celebrating Skids, The Armory Show, Richard Jobson's new book, and the new Sky TV Skids documentary.
