Un beau matin

Description

After listening to the vinyl reissue of Un beau matin by Areski, I immediately wanted to see the thirty years that separate this album from 1970 and Le triomphe de l'amour thirty years later. The first has the freshness of the early Saravah, of the record he co-signed with Jacques Higelin, a buddy from the army, or of those he was creating at the time with his partner, the sublime Brigitte Fontaine. The second is rich in arrangements contributed by many musicians. Both possess the monotonous poetry of a soft voice, the Kabyle scent of the percussions he lightly touches, the flowers he makes bloom in his dream garden, a generous and colorful dream.
