Description

666 is a double album of progressive rock released in 1972 after the breakup of Aphrodite's Child. Composed by Vangelis Papathanassiou, it is the musical adaptation of the Apocalypse of Saint John. Very controversial at its release and described at the time as "stone music" by Salvador Dali, the album is now considered one of the best rock albums, blending metal, rock, and Eastern music.
