Description

The new signing of Partisan Records presents her second album.
“Protector” was born in the spring of 2020, when Aoife packed her bags in Dublin and moved to the rural county of Clare on the west coast of Ireland. It was there, amidst the calm, that she began working on the songs that would become her second album: a personal and mystical journey of self-discovery through dislocation, transformation, and restoration. In Aoife's own words: "Writing and recording this album has been a spiritual experience. I felt love for my family at a level I had never known, while slowly getting back on my feet and watching the 'protector' in me become much larger. “Protector” acknowledges the part of myself that guides me toward a brighter path."
