Somewhere between Peter Kernel, Fugazi, Pixies and Crack Cloud lies ANTENN.E, a crazy young trio from Lyon, who are determined to make a name for themselves on the indie scene with their music, which they like to call 'Bright Punk'. - - After a first EP called 'A. Bogoluibsky, chien' released in April 2022 and over 70 dates in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany, ANTENN.E is back with a new record. - - The Lyon-based band is more vulnerable and, through this first album, unveils a new aesthetic with darker and more introspective tracks, while retaining its pop, bright and freewheeling side. It reveals multiple influences, from Peter Kernel to Crack Cloud, including Fugazi, Pixies and The Beatles. - - On 'Tabouret', each track is a portrait of more or less fictional and non-gendered characters: they are marginalized, crazy, sad, wacky, fragile, lost but also tender, touching, funny. Through them, Antenn.e addresses the theme of marginality, as a kind of echo to what our world reflects back to us - its flaws, its violence but also its beauty - and also looks at the search for identity, displacement or even addictions.
