Portrait

Description

My Portrait album series presents contemporary composers with a unique signature. Ludovico Einaudi is one of them. This great and prolific Italian composer offers us here works that stay with us for a long time. Music that captivates the listener, a soundscape to discover. Starting from the original versions by its composer and brilliant pianist, I wanted to revisit his works with my violin, surrounded by the wonderful women musicians of my string orchestra La Pietà. A reinterpretation of his music, changing its texture, rethinking its construction, revisiting its structure and bringing a whole other sonic dimension to it. Enjoy listening! Angéle Dubeau
