Max Richter is a contemporary composer among the most influential of his generation. Inspired by Bach, punk rock, and ambient electronic music. He has composed works for over 50 films, including Waltz for Bashir, Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island, and Denis Villeneuve's Arrival, as well as the music for the HBO television series The Leftovers.
