Andrew Fairweather-Low, born on August 2, 1948, in Cardiff, is a Welsh guitarist, songwriter, and performer.
He is one of the founding members of the British pop group Amen Corner and in recent years, he has been touring with Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, and Bill Wyman.
Flang Dang is Andy's first solo album since 2006. After a sixteen-year interval, here he is at his best with a sweet and moving musical level with the kind of record that will surely delight his fans.
Each song on the album was written by Andy and breathes the blues and gospel style that he has made his own. He recorded everything at the Rockfield studio of Kingsley Ward in Wales, with drummer Paul Beavis providing the healthiest heartbeat for this new body of work from Andy.
The whole album has the patina of maturity that you would expect from someone with such experience as a musician and gentleman.
