Andy Black

The shadow side

Description

A first solo album under the enigmatic name Andy Black, leader of the band Black Veil Brides. The album is produced by John Feldmann (Panic! at the Disco, Lostprophets, Good Charlotte) and there are many guests in the credits: Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio, Blink-182), Gerard Way, Ashton Irwin (5 Seconds of Summer) and Rian Dawson (All Time Low). Like the first single We Don't Have To Dance, this first solo venture sounds a little more pop/rock than the music usually delivered by BVB, and allows Andy to reveal other facets (dark ones?) of his talent, an approach not very far from the Billy Idol of the great era. We remember that in May 2014, Andy Biersack launched the career of Andy Black with the video for They don't need to understand.
