In 2005, Andrew Bird was an unexpected combination of virtuosic violinist, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and whistler. With the album The Mysterious Production of Eggs, he created a sound that continues to inspire today. To celebrate the album's 20th anniversary, Andrew Bird is releasing a special box set including a 54-page book with photographs, two essays (one written by Andrew himself, the other by Anders Lindall), and surprises. The box set includes the original album, two LPs of unreleased material (demos, live recordings, alternate versions, and rarities) as well as a selection of tracks performed with the Nu Deco Ensemble. New cover art accompanies this anniversary edition. The cult album is also available as a single LP with anniversary edition artwork.
