27 Years of career since her debut in 1998 and 15 albums to her name! 2 years after her last studio album, ANA POPOVIC is back with her new opus… the 11th in the studio. Pure Ana Popovic that will delight her many fans… In 2022 and 2023, with the album POWER, I wasn't sure of anything. I didn't know if it would be my last album, if I would take a break; if I could physically tour and record. These were the most difficult years of my life. The future was uncertain. Today, I am more than proud to announce the near-birth of my new album, which summarizes my life, my attachment to this incredible musical path I have chosen. It summarizes my perseverance and my joy of being who I am, musically and in every way, surrounded by people who support my vision. Over the past three years, Buthel and I have concocted ten new tracks – pieces of our lives, carefully crafted, to reflect our current situation and the one we wish to achieve in the years to come, with our big band, our small group… all the formations we have.
People write to satisfy critics, to stand out, to satisfy the "blues police," the "rock police," the "police of everyone." To satisfy their egos. To break through. We write to adapt to our concerts. To inspire the band. Because it's the live performance that matters, to us. It's my passion and my musical quest. Considerable work has been invested in this project, and as always, every arrangement, every musician, every sung word and every played note have been carefully selected to add the right "sauce" to this eternal gumbo of sounds and inspiration, and to bring a message of positivity and change. It's this eternal attempt to write a damn great song! And it will allow you, as with all my records, to discover a new Ana, while simultaneously reminding you who Ana really is. Because, dear fans and friends, you haven't heard it all yet.
