Amulets is the solo project of audio-visual artist Randall Taylor based in Portland. With REM(A)INDERS, he uses handmade tape loops and live-processed guitar loops to create rich, immersive, and deeply atmospheric soundscapes. Through the recontextualization of tapes, sampling, field recordings, and looping, his long-form compositions blur the boundaries between ambient, drone, noise, and electronic music.
