FOLLOWING THE LIGHT

Description

AMC Trio is a trio from Slovakia. However, the group does not perform exclusively as a trio, but expands its collaborations with always highly renowned guests. AMC Trio has collaborated with Randy Brecker, Philip Catherine, Bill Evans, Ulf Wakenius, Mark Whitfield, Michael Patches Stewart and many others. The guest musicians have contributed to the trio’s popularity wherever it has performed. AMC Trio plays mainstream jazz inspired by the traditional and classical music of its origins. The new album FOLLOWING THE LIGHT, due out at the end of August on the JAZZLINE label, features AMC Trio with none other than Randy Brecker on trumpet and, on two tracks, Randy’s wife, Ada Rovatti.
