After their fifth album "Ask," the Turkish-psychedelic band Altin Gün returns with a 45 RPM record featuring two remixed songs for the summer. Both tracks are remixed by Jasper Verhulst (bass) and Chris Bruining (percussion), members of the band. These two are always looking for new ways to (re)create music, and these remixes were a way to explore new paths in the music they shape as members of Altin Gün. Kalk Gidelim is a cumbia remix, inspired by Argentina's cumbia villera, while Su Siziyor is a digidub-style remix with plenty of reverb and phasers inspired by King Tubby. Ultimately, this remix project is just for fun, to enjoy the summer in good spirits.
