A new gem discovered by the RUF Records label, Ally Marie Venable is just 24 years old! A guitarist, composer, and singer from Texas, she was voted Best Female Blues Guitarist of the Year in 2014, 2015, and 2016 by the ETX Music Awards. Her first album was released in 2016 and reached number 16 on the Blues Charts. Her second album, released in 2017, ranked number 7 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart. Ally Venable, born on April 7, 1999, in Kilgore, Texas, is an American blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She and her band, the Ally Venable Band, were respectively voted "Female Guitarist of the Year" at the East Texas Music Awards in 2014 and 2015, and "Blues Band of the Year" in 2015 and 2016. Ally Venable sang in church from the age of 4, discovered the guitar at 12, and was only 14 when Wise Man, her first 7-track album, was released. Her third album, No Glass Shoes, released on Connor Ray Music, peaked at 16th on the RMR Electric Blues Charts in 2016. She is featured as one of America's Blue's Scene's essential artists under 30. Her fourth album, Puppet Show, entered at number 7 on Billboard magazine's best-selling blues albums chart. The album Texas Honey was released in 2019 (number 2 on the Billboard Blues Chart). Today marks the release of her 7th album, already with international distribution, and her 3rd on the RUF label.
