Alien has been a pillar of the Swedish hard rock scene since 1986, recognized for its melodic choruses, powerful riffs, and the iconic voice of Jim Jidhed. Formed in Gothenburg, the band quickly made a name for itself in Sweden and internationally, building a discography marked by powerful albums and unforgettable concerts. Their first self-titled album released in 1988 introduced their melodic hard rock style to the world, with the iconic hit Only One Woman, certified gold in Sweden and heavily broadcast across Europe, the United States, and Japan. Since then, Alien has released several albums, the most recent being When Yesterday Comes Around on Pride & Joy Music, which reached the top 20 of the Swedish charts in spring 2025. After 15 years, on June 4, 2025, the band returned to the legendary Sweden Rock Festival, delivering a memorable concert that ignited the audience. Their set mixed classics like Tears Put Out The Fire, Go Easy, and Only One Woman, as well as recent tracks such as In The End We Fall and If Love Is War.
