"These songs, written on the road since 2015, sought to move from darkness to light. These last few years have been challenging for our contemporaries. The challenge for me was to seek hope, breaking free from solitude. And if hope lies at the end of the tunnel, I had to go through it, traversing a whole series of songs populated by shadows and apprehensions. To try and feel the zeitgeist, to exorcise contemporary fears, solitude, foolishness, inhumanity. Not to dwell in anxiety, but to emerge from it, with another series of songs that pay tribute to life, to women, to children, to the loyalty of dogs...
