Ravel's music is particularly close to Alexandre Tharaud's heart. In partnership with the Orchestre national de France and conductor Louis Langrée, he recorded the composer's two piano concertos, as well as "Nuits dans les jardins d'Espagne", the sumptuous three-movement work for piano and orchestra by Manuel de Falla. These three works have been part of Alexandre Tharaud's life since his adolescence. To go further in his relationship with Ravel, the French pianist will perform in 2024 in a film by director Anne Fontaine about the composer's life, titled "Boléro".
