New Zealand folk musician and composer Aldous Harding has released her fifth album, 'Train on the Island', via 4AD. The 10-track album was co-produced with her long-time collaborator John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Wales, where the duo had previously recorded 'Party' (2017), 'Designer' (2019) and 'Warm Chris' (2022). 'Train on the Island' features musical contributions from Joe Harvey-Whyte on pedal steel, Mali Llywelyn on harp, Thomas Poli on synths, Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) on drums, and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) on bass, backing vocals, guitar, and organ.
