The Roots Radics are a group of musicians created in 1978 by Errol "Flabba Holt" Carter (bass), Bingi Bunny (guitar) and Lincoln "Style" Scott (drums), joined by a large number of other musicians. They became an influential and respected studio and live band that dominated the Jamaican sound of the first half of the 1980s, known as early dancehall or rub-a-dub: The Roots Radics played with, among others, Gregory Isaacs, Bunny Wailer, Israel Vibration, etc. and also released albums under their own name. This "DUB" album is the version of the latest WAILING SOULS album. Released earlier this year and produced by ALBOROSIE. The Wailing Souls is a Jamaican reggae group composed of Winston 'Pipe' Matthews, Lloyd 'Bread' McDonald, George 'Buddy' Haye and Rudolph 'Garth' Dennis formed in the mid-1960s. Often compared to Bob Marley, Pipe Matthews' voice made this 8-time Grammy-nominated band one of the most recognized in roots reggae.
