Albert Hammond is one of the most prolific and versatile singer-songwriters of all generations. His early solo hits include "It Never Rains in Southern California" and "The Free Electric Band." He has also written and/or contributed to hits for Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Joe Cocker, Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin, and many others; his contributions to Pop thus span all genres and ages.
In 2024, he returns with a new album titled "Body of Work," written during a period of tumultuous change, during which this master of composition took a step back from the world. From the bold opening track "Don't Bother Me Babe" to the nostalgic "Looking Back" and ending with "Goodbye LA," "Body of Work" is an album for all ages, crafted from 50 years of lyrics, experiences, and wisdom.
