The Storm Before The Calm

Description

Alanis Morissette will release her first meditation album, “the storm before the calm.” This album, which gives permission to feel and the safety to ask, will be released digitally and as a 2CD. Both versions include 11 relaxing meditation tracks that Alanis wrote with Dave Harrington. Alanis Morissette says about writing the album: “Whether in person, or online, or at concerts, or by telepathy... your love and presence, your brains, your souls and your hearts have reminded me time and again why I am here. My connection with each of you is a quality of warmth for which I thank all the stars. May this album be a tool for you. May it comfort you, uplift you, shake you, or offer you whatever you may need throughout your days.” Since 1995, Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriters-musicians in contemporary music. Her deeply expressive music and performances have earned her widespread critical acclaim and seven Grammy Awards. Alanis’s first album in 1995, “JAGGED LITTLE PILL,” was followed by nine other eclectic and acclaimed albums. She has contributed musically to theatrical productions and has appeared on both the big and small screen. Outside of show business, she is a fervent supporter of women’s empowerment, as well as spiritual, psychological and physical well-being.
