The eleven songs on this album reflect the unparalleled vision and uncompromising strength of one of the most influential artists of all time. Liz Lamere and Jared Artaud have resurrected this collection of lost recordings, which they co-produced and mixed. Insurrection was created around 1997/98, after Mutator and before 2007, Vega's album released in 1999. It captures the intense energy of New York City in the 90s, marked by crime, murder, hatred, fascism, racism, and moral bankruptcy. You can hear the tortured souls that float throughout this album.
