“I wouldn't change who I am for anything in the world,” he declares in "Honnêtement," one of the ten original songs on his new album, 'Enamorado' (in love). And that's a good thing, because at 45, Agustín Galiana is part of the very exclusive circle of actor-singer-dancers for whom everything succeeds.
Yet, despite his successes on the small screen (winner of Danse avec les Stars, eight seasons of Clem) and the big screen (Les cobayes), not to mention a successful foray into theater (Laurent Ruquier's Le plus beau dans tout ça), Agustín always returns to singing, where he can express his most personal, deepest feelings. And make us dance.
Almost exclusively sung in French, the language of love, ‘Enamorado’ explores themes dear to Agustín's heart: displacement, sunshine, nostalgia ("Notre café préféré," "Soledad"). And Love: “It was love that brought me to Paris, and with this album, I want to return all that love to this country that has given me so much.”
Written and produced with Corson, Monsieur et Madame, John Maman, Thierry de Cara, and not forgetting Nazim, one of his most loyal collaborators, ‘Enamorado’ offers ten new songs and two covers whose sole aim is to do good: “I am a rainbow child: I came into the world to make my mother happy after she had lost a little girl. Doing good has become a way of life.”
