It had been 6 years since we last heard from Adrienne Pauly. 6 years is both a long and a short time; it’s the time it took for these songs to mature and become big enough to be released, to be offered to us. This 3rd album is a personal work, where Adrienne confides with poetry and takes us into her universe, which is both immediately identifiable and yet so different. A record where we encounter long-time companions like Gaby Concato (Melissa Mars, Jacques Dutronc, Vanessa Paradis) and Axel Concato (PY JA MA), as well as the spirit of the Stranglers' Jean-Jacques Burnel. This album marks the grand return of fantasy in French song from an artist who is always off the beaten path. The actress/singer found her first musical successes in 2006 with her debut album, propelled by the singles ‘La fille du prisunic’ and especially ‘J’veux un mec’. These would earn her a nomination the same year at the Victoires de la Musique in the categories of “Album Revelation of the Year” and “Artist of the Year.”
