White Noise

Description

German double bassist MARTIN WIND's eleventh album was recorded in November 2019. Here, he teams up with two long-time partners: Dutch flugelhorn player ACK VAN ROOYEN and Belgian PHILIP CATHERINE, a fusion guitar hero who grew up alongside JOHN McLAUGHLIN and many others since the 70s! The original compositions, three of which were written by MARTIN WIND, alternate with standards, including a cover of Cole Porter's "Everything I Love" that is exquisitely delicate, the exact opposite of what the album title (white noise) might suggest. Balance, mastery, seduction.
