Bobby and Martin Boer started experimenting with music in a small room of their parents' apartment on the 4th floor. The brothers brought together rapper Da Smooth Baron MC and singer Peggy "The Duchess" to form their stage act. The first single "Can't Help Myself" was released in 1990 and became an international hit in 1991. It took some time to achieve a major breakthrough, but by 1993, the brothers began working intensively together on a new single. No longer on the 4th floor, but in a real studio. This is where the single Never Alone was born, featuring the vocals of D-Rock (René Philips) and Des'Ray (Desirée Manders). The two brothers were back and created international Eurodance hits. Throughout 1993 and 1994, international hits were played on the international dance scene: "Never Alone," "Dreams," and "Let Me Be Free." Over the years, several international hits were produced under the name 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor. The style gradually shifted from Eurodance to happy hardcore. Singles like "Fly (Through the Starry Night)," "Come Take My Hand," and "Fairytales" became international bestsellers and topped the charts across Europe. By the end of 1996, the style of 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor shifted to R&B with the single "One Day," which was very well received by the public. However, Bobby and Martin decided to return to their Eurodance roots and created the single "I'm thinking' of U." The vibe is still strong. Since 2006, 2 Brothers have been performing live on the 4th floor at 90s music parties and festivals. All audio has been remastered on vinyl from the original sources in cooperation with Martin and Bobby.
