About
The Doors, Pioneering psychedelic rock from 1960s Los Angeles.
Iconic 1967 debut, compelling live shows, plus rare reissues and promos.
The Doors were a four-member band whose sound combined acid rock, blues rock, and psychedelic influences, rooted in the vibrant 1960s Los Angeles music scene. Featuring Jim Morrison's poetic vocals, Ray Manzarek's distinctive electric organ, Robbie Krieger's flamenco-influenced guitar, and John Densmore's jazz-inspired drumming, the group produced influential albums and electrifying live performances. Their first album was recorded swiftly and included a mix of original songs and covers, notable for the controversial track "The End," which included explicit lyrics that provoked strong reactions during live concerts.
Vinyl collectors will find diverse pressings, including original LPs, reissues, promos, and limited editions across several countries, reflecting persistent interest…
