About

Three studio albums and key live recordings — original vinyl pressings tracked in real-time.

Joy Division stands as a seminal British post-punk band formed in 1978 in Salford. Their catalog includes influential studio albums such as Unknown Pleasures (1979), Closer (1980), and the posthumous Still (1981). The group underwent a sudden end in 1980 following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. Post-breakup, the remaining members formed New Order. The band's unmistakable sound was shaped in collaboration with producer Martin Hannett, whose distinctive production techniques helped forge their atmospheric style.

Their work is well represented on vinyl with multiple pressings, including original Factory Records releases and recent reissues on labels like London Records, Rhino, and Ozit Records.
