Let yourself be carried away by the delicacy of Soap&Skin's covers!Anja Plaschg, aka Soap&Skin, is finally back after a 6-year absence. She presents TORSO, her first album made up entirely of covers. The Austrian singer has always had that particular talent throughout her rich career for reinterpreting songs with a unique approach. An exercise she considers a refuge. On this new album, Anja revisits in her own way tracks by essential artists like David Bowie, Sufjan Stevens, Shirley Bassey, Tom Waits and the Velvet Underground. A more than successful gamble where the artist carries us with disconcerting ease into a world of delicacy and pure emotion.
