Snocaps: the luminous reunion of the Crutchfield sisters (Waxahatchee & Swearin'), finally celebrated in France. Allison and Katie Crutchfield, respected figures on the American indie scene through Waxahatchee and Swearin', reunite under a new banner: Snocaps. Their self-titled debut album, released as a surprise digitally in late 2025 on Anti-, will be out on vinyl and CD on April 17, 2026. Comprising 13 tracks, this record marks their return to the studio together for the first time since P.S. Eliot. Surrounded by Brad Cook (production) and MJ Lenderman, the sisters deliver warm indie-rock with Americana touches, blending bright melodies and raw emotion, each of them playing multiple instruments. Praised by the international press - from The Guardian to Rolling Stone - the album confirms their ability to combine sincerity, maturity and the energy of their early days. For French audiences, Snocaps represents a rare event: the inspired reunion of two major voices in US indie, between nostalgia and renewal, already celebrated across the Atlantic and ready to resonate strongly in Europe.
