The songwriter native to Bristol presents her first album: a gem oscillating between country and pop. Having recently joined the Heavenly Recordings label (Boy Azooga, The Orielles, Confidence Man), Katy J Pearson presents 'Return', her first album to be released on November 13 on the label. Produced by Ali Chant (PJ Harvey, M. Ward, Perfume Genius), the album is a gem; ten songs that effortlessly glide between enchanting country, lo-fi folk, and pop for a sparkling result. Always accompanied by her dry guitar, this first album from the Bristol native oscillates between assertive country and catchy pop. The singer shapes elastic riffs and sweet, catchy melodies in her own time and on her own terms.
