Foxwarren - 2, a musical journey off the beaten path The Canadian quintet Foxwarren (Andy Shauf, Avery & Darryl Kissick, Dallas Bryson, Colin Nealis) returns with 2, a bold album where folk, hip-hop and experimentation intertwine with finesse. After the success of their first album (nominated for a Juno Award), the band breaks the rules: each member records and shares musical fragments that Andy Shauf assembles into a captivating sonic collage. The first single "Listen2me", accompanied by a video directed by Winston Hacking, illustrates this innovative approach with hypnotic loops and immersive storytelling. 2 explores the nuances of love through spellbinding melodies and voices from the past brought back into the present. With this album, Foxwarren does not simply play together: they redefine their sound by pushing the boundaries of their creativity, proving that after 20 years of friendship, innovation is still at the heart of their music.
