After the recent singles SLUGLIFE, PLAINTIVE NATIVE and DRAGGED UP A HILL (and thrown down the other side), the duo BIG SPECIAL announces their new EP O'JOY!, via SO Recordings, accompanied by the new track ONLY FREE WHEN SLEEPING. Composed of Joe Hicklin and Callum Moloney, the project is conceived as a complementary piece to their previous work, gathering and reworking ideas from their first two albums. Between introspection and rapid evolution, this EP revisits tracks left aside at the time, sometimes too dark or off-format, to create a coherent work that extends their artistic trajectory and their perspective on their journey and origins.
