Violence is the third self-titled album by the artist, multi-instrumentalist and cult figure Olin Caprison, born in Baltimore and based in New York. His compositions are known for enlivening and seamlessly blending the idiosyncratic characteristics of hip-hop, metal, RnB and electronic music, thus creating a language of their own. A dense, multilayered opus, the album takes us on a journey through religious ceremonies, nightmarish visions and the forgotten corners of a decaying urban landscape, leading us to the festive catharsis of the club.
