Rémi Geffroy loves to mix things up. With each album, a new path is offered. His music, full of emotion, takes us on a journey where genres intertwine. His diverse influences and writing transform his compositions into true stories with universes that are both epic and poetic. "Carrefour des Anges" can be compared to a place of choice, but also of encounters, perhaps reunions... The album is listened to and experienced as a journey in search of this place, whether it is far away or simply buried deep within us. This 6th opus presents us with a musical path and a characteristic sound, where the diatonic accordion expresses itself, supported by a string quartet, drums, and a guitar in arrangements that are both surprising and powerful. "Carrefour des Anges" invites us on an introspective journey, both intimate and universal, where music becomes the mirror of our soul, reflecting our joys and sorrows, our hopes and our disillusions. Listening to this album is an immersive experience, where one is carried away by the melodic currents, navigating between reverie and reality, in search of that crossroads where angels meet and where, perhaps, we will find a part of ourselves.
