Rémi Geffroy loves blending styles. With each album, a new path is offered. His music, full of emotion, takes us on a journey where genres intersect. His many influences and his writing turn his compositions into true stories with worlds that are both epic and poetic. Carrefour des Anges can be seen as a place of choice, but also of encounters, perhaps of reunions... The album is listened to and experienced as a journey in search of this place, whether it is far away or simply buried deep within us. This 6th opus presents us with a musical path and a distinctive sound, where the diatonic accordion is expressed, carried by a string quartet, drums and guitar in arrangements that are both surprising and powerful. Carrefour des Anges invites us on an introspective journey, both intimate and universal, where music becomes the mirror of our soul, reflecting our joys and sorrows, our hopes and our disappointments. Listening to this album is an immersive experience, where we let ourselves be carried away by melodic currents, navigating between reverie and reality, in search of this crossroads where angels meet and where, perhaps, we will rediscover a part of ourselves.
