Here are fourteen classic tracks from Ray Charles' repertoire, selected from performances he gave around the world between 1961 and 1970: Paris, Antibes, Prato (Italy), Sao Paulo, Stockholm, with a few television appearances for good measure (plus one in Newport). "If it's really something good that wasn't on the record, it doesn't matter, because when I play, I can make the performance of the song better than the record was." That's what the man himself said, and as you can hear on this disc, nothing can match the excitement of the 1960s Ray Charles Show. The sound quality is excellent throughout the disc.
