The legendary British producer continues to get us dancing with a new, colorful album. The talented British multi-instrumentalist and producer Quantic, whose real name is Will Holland, has that rare ability to intertwine electronics with orchestral sounds, and proves it once again on his new album Dancing While Falling. On this new effort, recorded in his Brooklyn studio, Quantic wanted to use old production techniques to achieve a symphonic feel, with more acoustic instrumentation, highlighting the talents of the musicians who play on the album. Influenced by legendary disco artists such as Bohannon and Larry Levan and by his love of travel, Quantic continues to build bridges between cultures and genres; this time collaborating with Andreaya Triana, Rationale and Connie Constance, Quantic offers us a bright funk-soul-dance cocktail where moving gospel choirs and unstoppable brass meet.
