If there's one thing Panic Shack knows how to do, it's have fun. Composed of Sarah Harvey, Meg Fretwell, Romi Lawrence, Em Smith, and Nick Williams, the band formed in 2018 in response to the male dominance of the indie and punk scenes. Their self-titled debut album explores new musical horizons, drawing from their energetic punk and enriched with vocal harmonies, synthesizers, electronic experimentation, and sharp humor. Through eleven tracks, the lyrics explore the female experience with a incisive narrative style, addressing themes ranging from nightlife to romantic relationships, as well as the toxic culture of body image and sexual harassment, all with infectious energy and irreverent irreverence. Limited color version.
