With Orc, the Oh Sees reach a new peak of psychedelic chaos. In top form, they deliver a deluge of furious tracks, between hypnotic heavy and unpredictable grooves. Paul Quattrone joins Dan Rincon on double drums, propelling John Dwyer’s guitars and Tim Hellman’s sharp bass. The record captures the band’s live intensity, between creeping darkness and raw energy. Darker, stranger - and still just as essential.
